Everyone from China Power Investment would benefit from building this controversial dam.
The people of the region opposed to the construction of the dam because it would have a huge irreversible impact on the forested area and environment around where they want to build the dam. They would aso be building the dam less than 100 kilometers form a major fault line and if the dam broke in an earthquake then it would flood a huge part of Burma and endanger many innocent peoples lives.
The author is against the building of the dam, you can tell because the last paragraph is all about how his company is working to stop the construction of the dam and about how they are supporting local groups and raising international awareness.
